Matt Heintzelman is a physical therapist with over 25 years of experience across the rehabilitation spectrum. He holds a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton, an MS degree in Information Science from Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University.
Matt has several peer-reviewed publications and presentations related to injury risk reduction, patient satisfaction, and management of patients with chronic disease conditions. He holds certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute, Level I Coaching from USA Triathlon, and LSVT-BIG for patients with Parkinson’s and related movement disorders.
Matt provides In-Home Physical Therapy Services specializing in clients with Persistent/Chronic Pain. He also provides post rehabilitation return to sport programs, and sports performance improvement programs.
In addition to his clinical practice, Matt serves as an adjunct faculty for Lebanon Valley College’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. He has developed and taught coursework in Exercise Science, Geriatrics and Joint Replacement, and Evidenced Based Practice. He is an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Pain Society and serves on the Education Committee.
Matt lives in the Philadelphia Suburbs with his wife, young daughter and their Labrador Retriever with an unending appetite.
